The new link connects SS 639 to SP 72 on both sides. On 13 February 2009, the inauguration of the Bridge took place in the presence of the authorities and hundreds of people. The design of the intervention has paid careful attention to the definition of structural geometric details of the new bridge whose typology wants to express the dynamics of evolution of these structures present along the Adda, where each bridge, as an example of ardent desire for progress, is present to remember the past and to hope for the future. Similar care has been taken in the definition of the road route and its complementary works. This solution has also appeared particularly suitable from the point of view of environmental integration, thanks to the low structural heights of the profiled section that distinguishes it.
