From track redevelopment to the circular economy
An unprecedented intervention for speed of execution and organization, a concrete example of circular economy. With 150 employees working 24 hours a day, reduced environmental impact, more than 85,000 tonnes of material laid, 70 km of new cables for 850 new AVL the intervention is destined to become a case history of the sector.
In just over a month, Vitali has successfully completed the refurbishment and modernisation of runway 17L/35R and taxiways D and E at Milan Malpensa Airport. Impressive numbers for the redevelopment work on 168,000 square meters of surface that involved more than 150 employees who worked on shifts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An 11 million euro project that had a great focus towards economic circularity, Environmental sustainability and re-use of processing materials.
