Quality & Compliance
Code of Ethics
Principles of
value
All our business activities are always based on the values of legality, transparency, and fairness, respecting the interests of all. The Code of Ethics sets out general principles, inspires principles of conduct, and regulates relations with stakeholders, defining the ethical and social responsibility of each participant in the company organization.
Responsibility
A transparent
company
Our business is based on an effective internal control system, which allows us to conduct our business in an ethical manner consistent with our corporate objectives, through an adequate process of managing key risks, capable of creating lasting value for shareholders and all stakeholders. For this reason, in 2005 we adopted the “Organization, Management, and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 231/2001” and established a supervisory body.
Gender equality
Growth
is female
Vitali Group promotes gender equality within its construction sites and workplaces. This approach to equality does not tolerate discrimination in recruitment, remuneration, or job assignments.
Obtaining certification for gender equality management demonstrates Gruppo Vitali’s concrete commitment to building a more equitable future.
Supply chain
Being part
of a whole
To promote circularity in the supply chain, have a positive impact on communities, and select partners who are increasingly attentive to sustainability issues, we have issued a specific Supplier Code of Conduct, which must be accepted by any legal entity that provides activities, goods, or services and wishes to be included in the Supplier Register.
This code ensures that suppliers implement safe working conditions, treat their employees with respect, and use environmentally friendly production processes. The rules are based on EU and national principles of transparency, rotation, and equal treatment.
The list of suppliers is valid for one year, is open to all, and any economic operator that meets the legal requirements can apply to be included.
Report management
Whistleblowing
The Company has implemented a system for managing reports—including anonymous reports, provided they are sufficiently detailed—relating to unlawful or illegal conduct.
Reports can be made through the My Governance platform, which is considered the preferred channel as it is able to guarantee the confidentiality of the reporter’s identity through electronic means.
Through the platform, the whistleblower will be guided through each stage of the reporting process and will be asked to fill in a series of mandatory fields in order to provide as much detail as possible, in accordance with the requirements.
Reports will be handled by a Whistleblowing Committee set up for this purpose.
Whistleblowers acting in good faith are protected from any form of discrimination, retaliation, or penalization, and the proper fulfillment of the duty to report cannot lead to disciplinary proceedings or the application of related sanctions.
The adoption of the aforementioned system does not, however, preclude the reporting of any violations of laws or government regulations to the competent authority.
Anti-corruption
We believe in
transparency
For Vitali Group, transparency is a fundamental element in the management of every public or private construction project. This ethical commitment is aimed at the proper economic and social development of the territory, which is also confirmed by the Certification of the management system for the prevention of corruption – ISO 37001.
