1/5Construction Site within the Construction Site - Raw Material Recovery
To fuel a model of the circular economy, to make work in progress more efficient and to safeguard natural resources, we have developed a management model that allows waste materials to be processed and reused as a secondary raw material. Owing to a series of fixed and mobile treatment plants, we transform demolition waste for reuse as a sub-foundation and filling material, or as raw material for producing concrete and asphalt. The ability to manage the entire recycling cycle directly on site also allows for the recovery and reuse of over 90% of waste material in the fastest and most efficient way possible, resulting in productive, economic and, above all, environmental benefits.

2/5Ecological asphalt
Our experience, know-how in the infrastructure and construction sector, and a huge investment in Research and Development have enabled us to create innovative ecological (or photocatalytic) asphalt, a particularly effective solution in contexts where air pollution is very high, with advantageous anti-pollution, anti-spill and anti-bacterial properties. This asphalt contributes to the reduction of organic pollutants in the atmosphere from factories, cars, heating, etc. by using the process of photocatalysis: it is activated in the presence of air and light, decomposes organic and inorganic pollutants and transforms them into non-harmful substances, directly benefiting people and the environment.

By means of state-of-the-art treatment plants, capable of transforming waste material to make it fully reusable, we recover demolition rubble, reducing the need for excavation of natural raw materials and avoiding the abandonment of demolished artefacts in unauthorised areas.

4/5Water and sludge recovery plants
Every year, most of the 3.1 million tonnes of sewage sludge produced in Italy ends up in landfills. Vitali S.p.A. SB, we operate recover wastewater and sludge, which are treated to obtain energy and nutrients and prevent them from entering the sewerage system. At all our production facilities, the water used for washing vehicles is recovered and reintroduced into the production cycle, while rainwater, collected in special tanks, is reused within the production facilities.

5/5BIM - Building Information Modeling
Since 2022, we have been using BIM design, an innovative tool that ensures better design coordination, more targeted controls during the construction phase, optimal procurement management and constant and accurate monitoring of time and costs. The use of digital technologies makes it possible to check the progress of the work and to have a real perception of the development of the construction site; it also allows check-lists for quality controls to be carried out in real time and to have an as-built that is in-line with the acquired documents.
