traditional concretes

Traditional (or ordinary) concrete is the most widely used building material in the world. It is mainly composed of a mixture of cement, aggregates and water and is characterised by good compressive strength. Used together with steel, which ensures the absorption of tensile stresses, traditional concrete gives form to the most widely used cementitious material: reinforced concrete.

From the extraction of raw materials to the recycling of waste materials: Vitali S.p.A. SB’s in-house production of materials ensures the measurement and quality control of the product, guarantees compliance with applicable regulations and enables us to offer a premium quality building material.

All traditional concretes produced by Vitali S.p.A. SB are identified according to the values determining the strength class relative to the concrete type. We assign a strength class to the standard concrete we produce that refers to values ranging from C16/20 to C 20/25. This material ensures:

  • compliance with current regulations in terms of composition and quality
  • a process monitored by in-plant laboratories
  • maximum strength and durability for every type of use
  • the use of selected and recovered raw materials
  • the recycling of waste materials, which are fed back into production
