Laying of bituminous conglomerates
Thanks to the use of the best materials and the decades of experience of its operators, Vitali S.p.A. SB is a leader in hot and cold asphalt laying. For new or existing urban, suburban and motorway roads, potholes, pavements, squares or other road surfaces, Vitali S.p.A. SB ensures the maximum safety of operators and uses bituminous conglomerates consisting of aggregates and the best quality natural bitumen available, to guarantee a perfect end result.
The hot lay is ideal for maintenance operations on existing roads. In this case, we start by milling off the old road surface and cleaning it with a sweeper, and then proceed with the hot laying of the asphalt surface, which generally consists of three layers: base, bonding layer, wearing course. In the case of newly constructed roads, a concrete mix sub-foundation that can support the other asphalt layers must be laid before the asphalt layers are laid.
Cold laid asphalt differs from classic hot laid asphalt due to its special application method, which involves only the laying of cold tar and subsequent compaction by the normal flow of traffic, using rollers or, if necessary, additional sealing with sand or lime.
This is a cold bituminous conglomerate, an amalgam of grit and binder, effectively added to facilitate its laying and plasticity, all exclusively cold. Due to its special composition and ductility, it is particularly suitable for upgrading road surfaces and the resolution of any type of critical road situation, and thanks to its ease of application, it saves time and contains costs.
All asphalting operations carried out by Vitali S.p.A. SB are done using state-of-the-art machinery and technology and high-grade materials to ensure the best possible result.
Soil regeneration and stabilisation
The regeneration and stabilisation of soils with lime and/or cement is a technique that allows soils to be used with characteristics unsuitable for the construction of buildings and infrastructure (e.g. clayey and/or loamy materials), by means of only in-situ treatment of the material itself.
The results of using this method are remarkable in both the short and long term, thanks in part to the reactions activated by the lime, which continue over time:
- significant increase in the load bearing capacity of the treated soil;
- cutting down the action of water with clayey-loamy materials;
- increased resistance to erosion and freeze-thaw action;
- elimination of fine clay particles in the treated soil layer;
- increased workability level of treated soil.
Transfer of recoverable materials
For over 20 years, Vitali S.p.A. SB has been operating in the collection, treatment and disposal of construction waste deriving from building activities or demolition of structures. To do so, it uses its own specialised storage, waste treatment and disposal facilities.
In its plants located in Lombardy, in the area between the provinces of Milan and Bergamo, Vitali Group provide the finest technologies to guarantee the highest quality at low costs. The plants at Caponago (MB) and Ponte San Pietro (BG) are operated according to efficiency standards and allow building waste to be processed for reuse as a secondary raw material, reducing mining activities.
For all non-reusable materials such as concrete, bricks, tiles, ceramics or other waste, Vitali Group guarantees environmentally friendly landfilling, supporting each customer with comprehensive and responsible construction waste disposal services.
Recovery of raw materials
Vitali S.p.A. SB implements demolition material recycling and reuse policies to safeguard the environment. The use of secondary raw materials is fundamental for us and for our planet: in a world where resources and raw materials are increasingly becoming scarce every day, reusing and recycling materials is beneficial
for the entire ecosystem.
We have fixed and mobile treatment plants that integrate with our solid production structure and allow us to reuse materials and allocate them to sub-foundation and filling operations, or as raw materials for the production of concrete, asphalt and bituminous conglomerates. Operating correctly and efficiently means, above all, assigning the right importance to every stage and every aspect of our work.

A complete fleet of machinery, including trucks, excavators, bulldozers, road construction machinery, digging machines, hydraulic demolition grapples and many other machines for all types of construction sites.

Thanks to its complete fleet of machines, Vitali Group is able to handle excavation and levelling operations of any size, ensuring the correct treatment of waste and the transfer of recovered materials to the appropriate plants.
