Leonardo da Vinci Park: the logistics park on the outskirts of Milan
The hub summarizes the advantages of the highest quality construction, managing to offer high standards of safety, comfort and functionality. The logistics park is located along the A4 Milan-Venice highway, corridor 5 Europe. Embedded in a road system of national and international interest, the hub can be reached through the Cavenago-Cambiago and Trezzo sull’Adda highway exits. The area in question falls within a recently expanded industrial area that already hosts major manufacturing and logistics centers. The building consists of a building body having a gross floor area of about 50,000 square meters, divided into compartmentalized warehouses, offices and service rooms. The project involves the construction of warehouses with double loading fronts and about 70 loading bays. At the east front of the 1st warehouse, a two-level mezzanine structure will be built to be used for administrative offices and services, suitably arranged with connecting stairs and elevators. In the warehouses, mezzanine structures are planned for departmental offices and related services, complete with locker rooms. The building will be equipped with an American-made N.F.P.A sprinkler system, and compartmentalizations will be made with REI120 walls.
